Puddles in Kampung Pulo Finally Receded

Jakarta Regional Disaster Mitigation Agency (BPBD) announced the flooding that had submerged 20 RWs that spread in East Jakarta on Wednesday (2/3) is now receding. Its duration in every RW is vary, between 4-12 hours.

Bambang Suryaputra, Head of Jakarta BPBD's Informatic and Management Section disclosed there is no longer flood in 20 RWs which were submerged due to overflowing waters.

"Flood has receded now," he reported, at City Hall, Thursday (2/4).

Puddles in Kemang Selatan Receded Faster

He stated that the region's longest-recede is Kampung Pulo, Jatinegara, East Jakarta. To eliminate flood quickly, his side alerted mobile pumps to suck up the water from such regions yesterday. "Last night, the region was submerged between 10-40 centimeters. But this morning has receded," he expressed.
